Board Game Adaptation
As a programmer, I enjoy making games with technical challenges. Coding board game mechanics have always scratched that itch. I also have a hard time designing the finer details of game mechanics and creating the art templates. Converting an existing board game I like to a video game allows me to bypass those parts of development.
SWLCGonline is an unofficial board game to video game adaptation of Star Wars: The Living Card Game made by Fantasy Flight Games. Unfortunately, this means I can't publish the game in any way once it's finished. However, it will give me the experience to create my own card game in the future.
Using Unity Gaming Services multiplayer solutions, I made SWLCGonline an online multiplayer game. I made myself familiar with RPC calls, using dedicated servers, and player account management.
